Digital Economy Bill Madness

What the fu*k is this about people. Whilst were all glued to our screens hearing nothing but the latest slagging off or slander being thrown in the run up to the election, behind the scenes dark little affairs are still carrying on. The Digital Economy Bill was passed in parliament last week (thurs) effectively making this a law in the pipeline.

For those who arent familiar with the Digital Economy Bill, i suggest you look into it, but as an overview it changes how our internet activity can be monitored and scrutinised, and it work in the interests of the big media giants. It appears to be a way to reign in the web so its under the same corporate control and regulation as tv, print, film, etc.
